Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Photoperiod and Feminized
While "Feminized" and "Photoperiod" are often discussed together, they actually describe two different traits of a plant: Feminized refers to the plant's gender, ensuring it grows into a bud-producing female rather than a pollen-producing male, while Photoperiod refers to the plant's "internal clock," meaning it will only begin to flower when its light cycle is shifted to 12 hours of darkness. Essentially, a strain can be both at once—a Feminized Photoperiod strain is guaranteed to be female but gives the grower total control over when it starts blooming by manually changing the light schedule.
