We only work with licensed growers who operate in accordance with state and federal law in order to maintain the highest standards in quality assurance and compliance.
We also rigorously test and monitor every aspect of our marijuana seed farms with third-party labs to confirm each meets regulatory and quality standards.
We work exclusively with American farmers who have developed proprietary genetics to create high-quality cannabis.
Thanks to these experts’ selective breeding practices, we can produce and share federal regulation-compliant cannabis seeds that grow into cannabis plants rich in vitality and growth factor.

FAQs About Botanist Seeds
Are cannabis seeds legal?
Cannabis seeds are legal to purchase online, even in many states where it is not legal to cultivate cannabis seeds without adequate licensing. Always check out your state’s laws and regulations for cannabis cultivation before ordering.
The 2018 US Federal Farm Bill legalized cannabis products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. As seeds are relatively tiny, they contain a miniscule amount of D9 THC whilst remaining federally lawful, and they do not yield any D9 THC until they grow into mature flowers and smoked.
All our products are federally legal and have been since the 2018 Farm Bill. We have all our products tested regularly by third-party labs, to ensure our compliance with federal law.
Do cannabis seeds have psychoactive effects?
Cannabis seeds alone cannot get you high — cannabis seeds contain less than 0.3% THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids that can result in psychoactive effects.
3rd Part Lab Testing
All Botanist Seeds products are regularly tested by third-party labs to ensure safety and federal legality.
